The very end of 2016 and the very beginning of 2017
Taking a step back from this busy time of year to reflect on my creative journey. It really has been an incredible year with shows, galleries, exhibitions, installations and Hothouse16. December is a month for research. Looking forward to putting my new ideas into practice in 2017.

Weekend workshop at The Wonder Inn Manchester.
My Indigo and weave workshops are focused on seeing the potential in forgotten materials. You are invited to bring your fabric/ garments that have a special story, memory or meaning, that you will dismantle and have the opportunity to dip dye and to create a unique piece of weave to treasure. A time to get away from the fast pace of our digital lives and to embrace slow craft processors.
Each student will need to bring dress making scissors and any fabric brought needs to be Cotton, Cotton dyes best in Indigo. I will bring a selection of fabric also. Tutoring, Dye and Materials all included.
Investment is £25 per workshop
This workshop will be available on Sat 19th Nov & Sun 20th Nov.

NORTHERN DESIGN EVENT 16
A selection of work by the hottest makers from across the UK.
Featuring ambitious and talented makers and designers who have recently set up their studios, we are showcasing fresh ideas, craft, design and celebrating material culture, showing the work of makers with varied approaches, from throwing on the potter’s wheel with a colour-popping twist, to the marriage of drawing and machine embroidery.
